NorthernMonkeyMother: Sort of...but I've still loads to do before tonight

NorthernMonkeyMother: I've got to do my hair...I want to look nice if I'm going to be on TV when the result is shown
NorthernMonkey: but it'll be 3am, noone will be watching and it's not like you are announcing the result
NorthernMonkeyMother: I know but I might be on in the background and you know Evelyn has insomnia and might be watching and I don't want saying she saw me and my hair was all messy
NorthernMonkey: what else do you have to do then?
NorthernMonkeyMother: I have to decide what to wear...
NorthernMonkey: It'll be a late night with lots of hanging about, go for comfort...how about your jeans?
orthernMonkeyMother: But I don't want to look like I'm supporting any one party...
NorthernMonkey: But unless you have a big rosette on, no-one will look at the colour of your clothes
NorthernMonkeyMother: but they might and i don't want to give the wrong impression or be accused of favouritism when counting
NorthernMonkey: Ok, ok so what are the options?
NorthernMonkeyMother: I think I'll go with the brown trousers with a cream top..or maybe the beige trousers or should I wear my white shirt....

Hello my friend Norbert Mooney :)
I just wanted to drop you a note to say hello and I hope you're well and stuff :)
I know that it has been AGES since I was last 'here', but I do still think of you :) In particular, this last week I have been reminded of you for two separate reasons... Both of them festivals, come to think of it... 1. Chilli and 2. Reading. (** The place, that is, not the activity. In case there was any confusion :) )
Oh, and on top of that, I am acquainted with somebody called Norbert. Who'd have thought ;)
I remember having read soon after you had a Baby Monkey and having let out a squeal of delight and surprise :) ... I also remember "not quite" getting around to actually writing about it and how happy I was for you :)
So, uh, sorry about that ;)
But hey, the thought was there, and I may be late, but I get there in the end... And 100 other such cliché remarks ;)
Anyway, I just wanted to say, "Hey!" and "I hope you're well!" and "I still think of you even although I'm as quiet as a teeny tiny little invisible and mute mouse wearing slippers!"

... See. :) And even although those were exactly the same things as I just typed, I even went to the effort of actually typing them again rather than copying and pasting them! Hah! You see the lengths I go to for you? ;)
Anyway. I do hope that you are still well, and that you and all the Monkeys in your life are all well and happy and good :)
I see it's been a while since you last wrote anything (tsk! ;) ), but I hope you still -ohbuggerimademyselfacupofteaanhouragoandicompletelyforgottodrinkit- get to see this 'at some point' :)
